    Established in 2004 Custom Canines was opened in June of 2004 and is owned and operated by Lisa Vaughn. She is supported by a wonderful staff of professionals whose experience spans a combined 25+ years. Lisa worked for her first grooming shop in McLean for 23 years and then decided to branch out and open up her own business. Since the opening of her business in 2004, Lisa and her staff have been taking wonderful care of beloved pets from all over the Washington Metro area.

  • Meet the Business Owner: Lisa Vaughn

    Lisa Vaughn has been a native of McLean Va. and has always had a love for animals. She knew that she would spend her life taking are of animals in one way or another. When she was a senior in high school, she got a job bathing dogs in an established grooming salon in McLean. Over the years, she learned how to groom all breeds of dogs and knew that she had found her calling in life. Years later the dream to open and operate her own Dog Grooming Salon became a reality. Lisa has always shared a deep connection with her four-legged friends and she will continue to be an active part of the McLean community by taking care of man's best friend.
